Small Business Entrepreneurship Responsibilities:

• To promote and support the community in identifying potential small business opportunities (for example tourism, agricultural, local handicrafts, services etc)
• To assist communities to access market information and to market their goods.
• To assist micro businesses, or local business associations to improve their administrative and accounting systems and practices.
• To facilitate training of young people in basic business literacy (including budgeting and financial management) and to manage a small business through hands-on learning.
• To assist community members, especially young people, to access specialists to provide training in basic life skills.
• To assist community members to gain access to reputable micro-credit organizations

Other General Responsibilities:

• To carry out initial community mapping identifying potential community resources within the first month of placement
• To develop monthly work plans with local partner, monitor and evaluate ongoing project activities and ensure regular reporting
• To coach weak students to help them catching up with their studies, especially Khmer language and Mathematics
• To assist with the return to school of school drop outs
• To develop a children's club and / or a youth club to promote good citizenship and involve children and young people in community development
• To assist with the teaching of English to children and young people
• To promote volunteerism among young people

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Law or related field
• Aged between 20 to 30
• Ability to work effectively a broad range or people including children and young people
• Willingness to make a minimum of 9 months commitment to rural communities.
