We have had the privilege of being joined by government officials, foreign dignitaries, civic leaders, local & international scholars, young Cambodian professionals, alongside representatives of multinational corporations and not forgetting national & international organizations.
Ms. Oeun Sok Leang, a Youth Star volunteer, said: “We learned new concepts that as volunteers we are positive deviants and catalysts for change. This is something we never thought about before.“
In congratulating the success of volunteers and appealing for more funding to Youth Star, HRH Sisowath Pheanuroath, member of Board of Directors, said that we want to make it clear that our program is really all about developing the values and capabilities of our volunteers. "We see them thrown into new situations, facing new and complex challenges, emerging with a strong commitment to their new neighbours and more confidence than ever. And along the way, they serve as powerful role models for people of all ages. We are amazed to see them mobilize communities to build libraries, participate in local governance, plant trees and clean up their villages.
Youth Star Cambodia would like to thank to all sponsors, donors and distinguish guests who supporting this event."
