The chart shows the number of beneficiaries from Youth Star volunteer interventions in four priority sectors: education and youth development 9080 in total, out of which - 5041 are females; health and well-being: 5478 in total out of which 2675 are females; sustainable livelihoods: 1182 in total, out of which 533 are females; and good governance/ good citizenship: 721 in total, out of which 307 females. As a result, young girls and women in rural communities make up around 50% of total beneficiaries in all sectors.

There is much anecdotal evidence that Youth Volunteers are influencing youths to change to an unexpected degree.
Youth Star volunteers helped to mobilize 1,400 people in a sanitation project that focused on hand washing, and building and using locally made and affordable latrines.
Youth Star interns help to implement the One Laptop Per Child project in schools in Kratie and Prey Veng provinces.
